What is Ragdoll Fighters?
The title of the game is pretty self-explanatory, but if you somehow misunderstood it, here goes:
Ragdoll Fighters is a fighting game. You control the head of a ragdoll.
And as you would expect, the rest of the body is very ragdoll-like.
Because of the dynamic physics involved within Ragdoll Fighters,
you have no limit to create the kind of fighting styles, you want!
How was Ragdoll Fighters born?
RF started out as being a small test/play-around with physics. It started as just a few boxes and balls falling down on the screen.
I then began to expand it, and Ragdoll Fighters 1 was the result of that "test".
I never really planned on releasing any of it, but I had shown it to a few friends, who loved it.
Later, I realised that other people around the world, probably would like it too, and I decided to release it on my website.
Older people on this forum, might remember the location (http://www.rf.treesoft.dk).
After some time I decided that it would be cool for the game to have it's own domain, and shortly after, I had bought www.ragdollfighters.com, where the game is located today.
What is Ragdoll Fighters 2?
Ragdoll Fighters 2 is what is going to become the sequel to the first game.
What will Ragdoll Fighters 2 look like then?
I've seen some of you being sad of missing the old sedative darts, etc.
Relax people. Let me explain to you how this is gonna work.
Ragdoll Fighters 2, will start out having Normal Fight and Soccer,
which you've all had a chance to try out.
You are not gonna miss the sedative darts.
Let me inform you of the different game modes planned for the sequel.
Fight and crush other ragdolls with your ragdoll feet, hands, or head! (Or use the environment)
Play soccer with a friend! Or rather, against a friend. Make cool tackles, awesome shots and score goals!
Survive a dangerous labyrinth filled with horrifying traps. By yourself or with a few friends.
Keep the ball in your own color, by touching it!
Get to the end of the mine filled racing track before your friends!
Survive the big ugly orange ragdoll crusher (your friend)!
Free mode! Do whatever you want. Fight, crush ragdolls, sedate them, cut them in pieces!
Build your own completely customized levels, and share them with other people around the world!
